Blog and RSS/Atom search engines - registering blogs
When I start a new blog, besides creating links from other websites and blogs I own and registering it with blog directories as I blogged about before, I also register with blog and RSS/Atom search engines. This is also fast, easy and free, and will help people find your blog and hopefully eventually link to the great material you are writing. Besides directly sending you traffic, links raise your blog's stature within the search engines and result in more search engine traffic.
I added BloggingForBusinessBook.com to the following blog and RSS/Atom search engines:
technorati.com (I consider this one to be absolutely essential!)
blogdigger.com
blogpulse.com
icerocket.com
2rss.com
feedster.com
weblogalot.com
(any other suggestions?)
This only takes a few minutes and is well worth doing!

Just go to each of those links and follow their directions. Look for an "add" button or directions or similar
