Marketing Guru seeks job - Blogging builds credibility
Blogging builds credibility. You might be great at what you do -- blogging lets you demonstrate that to the world.
Example: Marketing Guru Bob Cargill, who I originally met through his blog A New Marketing Commentator and have since met in person, has built up a lot of credibility through his blogging. I'm sure he had that credibility among those he knew and worked with, and blogging extends his reach.
He is both extremely well versed in traditional marketing as well as fundamentally understanding new marketing trends and techniques, e.g. new media (I hope to know 10% of what he does someday).
Bob finds himself recently between jobs, and he's blogging for work. Blogging can not only help him find a job, but hopefully find a close to dream job. Check out his post A Career Imperative at The Crossroads of Change.
Blogging builds credibility. That credibility can be put to good use in many ways, including finding a great job.
Bob is a great marketing guy. How do I know? Orginally from reading his blog - a regular read of mine. Wish I could hire him!
Effective Internet Presence: Now required for success in business and life

Thanks, Ted. My blog has done so much for me in the two years since I launched it, but most important of all it has given me the opportunity to connect with wonderful people such as yourself.

Let me know if you marketing guys need a couple of great graphic artists/designers.
I happen to know a couple who always need more work - and they are a two-for-one deal!
Blog for business and networking - always. Thanks!
