State of the blogosphere - Technorati report

Technorati's Dave Sifry reports today that the blogsphere is still growing at an incredible rate.

He says, "Even though there's a reasonable amount of tire-kicking going on, blogging continues to grow as a habitual activity."

• There are over 35 million blogs
• A blog is created every second
• The blogosphere is doubling in size every 6 months

Also:
55% of bloggers are still posting after 3 months
Posting volume continues to increases (perhaps a better measure of growth)
