Corporate Blog Deployments to Double in 2006
"Corporate Blog Deployments to Double in 2006" according to Jupiter Research.
Jupiter reports 35 percent of large companies will start corporate blogs this year, and that 34 percent already have.
That 34% sounds way too high for me, and they give no indication how they measure it (I suppose if you buy their report they detail it).
If we said every large company that has any kind of bloggers -- "officially endorsed" or others we can somehow connect to the company -- that figure works, and is in fact low. Of course some of these "other bloggers" may be blogging on cats, astrology, or phrenology - non work related pursuits.
The growth figure is fascinating. I hope they're right, but never underestimate how slow big business moves!
