Anti-Social Social Media?

Have I been anti-social?

• I haven't blogged in a week. Haven't looked at Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Plaxo Pulse, or done anything with the dozen+ invitations/follows/whatevers received from them.
• I've barely read -- never mind answered  -- email all week.
• I've almost entirely ignored online networking/social media/or whatever term you prefer.

Am I anti-social?

I have been busy though (excuses, excuses, . . .) skiing with my kids, hanging out with a couple of colleagues, drinking a few glasses of wine with friends and more. Oh, and I used the phone a bit too.

No doubt some people wonder where I went.

Sometimes we forget: we don't live primarily online.

Although I can and sometimes do fill 18+ hours online daily with fairly social activities, our online activities are meant as a complement to our offline activities.

I certainly forget this sometimes, and know many of you do also.

So have I been anti-social??

Naw, I've been ignoring most social media the past week because I've been exceptionally social!
