Get Rich Quick! No Really! :)
Get rich schemes always amuse me. Their perpetrators are rarely rich.
Seth Godin's got a great post on: Too good to be true (the overnight millionaire scam).
With the state of the economy, we may be seeing more of these. Now I'm fully in favor of getting rich quick, but it involves so much luck that few can do it.
I prefer get rich slow schemes. They're not for sure either, and always involve lots of work. Hint: If it's in a field you enjoy, it might not all seem like work.
I see a lot of Internet get rich schemes lately -- which are bunk as well. As Seth says,
"There are literally a million ways to make a good living online, ten million ways to start and thrive with your own business offline. But all of these require effort, and none of them are likely to make you a million dollars."
Now if you're interested in get slow schemes on the Internet, which require lots of work, you can check out the following free reports I personally endorse.
Blog Profits Blueprint is a complimentary 55 page report from Yaro Starak, a bright kid with big hair (sorry Yaro!) who's gone from making a few bucks online blogging to making probably a few bucks every minute and approximately US$80,000 last month alone!
Rich Schefrens' Internet Business Manifesto -- this one was a real eye opener to me, and I've read it several times.
Oh yeah, if a million of you download them and eventually buy something, I'll get rich quick. But at least you'll know that hard work is required and have a decent chance at success -- however you define it.
