Chris Brogan has an excellent free ebook on Using the Social Web to Find Work.
It's a quick read, and worth it even if you're not looking for work. Unfortunately this is pretty timely for many of us.
Chris as usual nails it.
He starts talking about LinkedIn, which he uses slightly differently than LinkedIn suggests, and moves on from there. Personally I think all professionals should be in LinkedIn.
